I have been busy for a while with various things. At the same time I was desinging the prototypes for the nanoflyer board to fit in a hubsan quadcopter frame, as well as designing the board for the miniTx transmitter. I finally got some time to get those assembled and test it out.

Nanoflyer board features:

1. Atmega128rfa1 2.4GHz transceiver 8-bit MCU
2. MPU9150 Acc/Gyro/Mag sensor
3. MPL3115A2 barometric pressure sensor
4. 4 Brushed motor driver on board
5. 6 onboard LED indicators
6. Additional I/O ports exposed for extensibility with additional sensors via I2C and Serial
7. Designed to fit inside Hubsan mini quadcopter frame

MiniTx board features:

1. Atmega128rfa1 2.4GHz transceiver 8-bit MCU
2. Built-in accelerometer
3. Two joystick plus push button switches for directional control and selections
4. 4 additional push buttons for assigning additional functionality
5. 4 on board LED indicators
6. Built-in serial communication port for data transfer and programming
7. Built-in power management and battery charging
6. On board OLED display on I2C port
8. On board RF LNA
9. On board pcb antenna for indoor operation

Here is the final assembly of the Nanoflyer board inside the hubsan frame:
